BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church, Worlingworth

Vertical sundial, mounted on a wooden backing, above the entrance into the South porch. This unusually shaped six sided bronze dial, similar to a rectangle with the upper corners chamfered, shows the hours from 6am to 6pm in half hour divisions. In an arch above two entwined fish, the motto "Mors Venit" is engraved. Another motto beneath the gnomon root reads: "Vivat Carolus Secundus". A date of 1663 is shown at the lower edge of the dial, but this is likely to be false, as the dial is probably a "modern" decorative item.
