BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Inscr reads: "1900 GRH 1994". Dial set in bottom right pane of a four pane "Sundial Window" dedicated to Higgs’ work. Spot gnomon 25mm from dial face on outer leaf of double glazing. Shows 11am to 5pm in hours. Solstices and equinoxes are marked. EoT graph. The other three panes show dials Higgs ( BSS Member 007) restored and include the BSS Logo. Opening hours of centre 11.00-16.00 - longer in summer.
