Engraved with the maker’s name, churchwardens, the latitude and an 8 point compass rose. Shows 4am to 8pm. Unusual cast gnomon which looks original, pierced by a one inch hole. It is bevelled to a single sharp edge, despite the provision of a noon gap. Gnomon supporters are integral with the design. Uses IIII. Viewed from outside.
