BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
The dial consists of a large curved dial plate over the entrance of the store. There are 13 ’Argos’ red stove enamelled xiphoidal hour markers, and the rod gnomon springs from a blue disc (originally white) with a red surround. On the disc is ’C St J H Daniel / 1996 / BROOKBRAE LIMITED’.
