BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Ursula’s Convent School, Greenwich

The dial is mounted in the chimney breast at roof level, and is visible from the footpath. The motto "Serviam" is across the top, and the date "A . 1977 . D" at the bottom. Visible from nearby footpath. Shows 4am to 3pm in hours. Arabic numerals aligned vertically. Hour lines emanate from rectangle around gnomon root. The motto, date and numerals are all painted in blue/green shadowed in black, on a white ground. A small red crescent moon with enclosed star is in the top right corner of the dial section, above the 3pm numeral. The gnomon is short, of aluminium or similar, attached at the foot of a single support strut but currently (May 2014) broken away from the dial plate at the top.
