BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sutton Place, Sutton Green

A rare SW declining dial in the great hall, in the SW window, probably its original location. Broken at some time with pieces replaced incorrectly. Leadwork intact however. Ref ’Sutton Place - Annals of an old Manor House’ p188, 1893 by Frederic Harrison.
