BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Aldhelm’s Church, Belchalwell

The dial is mounted high on the SW buttress of the tower. Made by Landers Quarry, Langton Maltravers, as a replica of a dial which had existed in the same position on the church since the late 18th or early 19th century. It shows 7am to 7pm in whole hours, using upright numerals VIII - XII - IV - VI only. The blade gnomon has one staright support.
