BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary Arden Churchyard, Market Harborough

Motto reads: "Tempus Fugit". Shows 1pm to 8pm in hours. Uses ’IV’. Upper right of dial plate is damaged following loss of gnomon. In a row of headstones to N of ruined church. The dial is accompanied by a (long) memorial inscription to Samuel Turner. Slate headstone also has map of farm, compass ruler & protractor and image of Turner. An interesting & charming dial.
