BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial House, Ampney St Peter

The dial sits on a stone shelf, canted out on the right, high on the house wall. Across the scrolled top, all in raised lettering, are the date 1703 and an enclosed shield with initials ’B / T E’. It uses upright Arabic numerals for 6am tp 6pm, with + at noon, with full length hour and half-hour lines. The flat blade iron gnomon has one straight support.
