BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints’ Church, Hanley William

Attached to the weatherboarded church tower is a 450mm square stone which, as Arthur Mee tells us in his ’King’s England’ volume on Worcestershire, is a sundial. No markings now remain but the bent and rusted remains of the gnomon still survive to tell us that the dial declined East. By 2022 it had been replaced by SRN 8359.
