BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is 3.5m up on the extreme west end of the south wall. The motto reads: "Watch and Pray, Time is Short". Mrs Gatty, 1900 ed, p474, says the dial came from Deucher Kirk but this is disputed by the present Minister. Ref: Henslow ’Ye Sundial Booke’, Foyle Ltd, London, 1935, p134.
