BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints’ Church, Great Ayton

The dial is on the porch. The motto reads: "Horas Non Numero Nisi Serenas". A 1980s remake of a 1743 wooden dial declining 15 degrees East and located on the porch. Still shows original dial date of 1743. Shows 6am to 5pm in half hours. Uses XII and IV. Some paint flaking. Captain Cook (RN) attended this church as a boy, and the churchyard contains the graves of his mother and also his brothers and sisters.
