BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
This dial is located over the door and has a motto that reads: ’Nunc Id Fac’. The face is painted white with a gold sun and black lines and upright Roman numerals IX - XII - IV - VI, the sun’s rays representing the half hours. The date is along the top. The wooden joints are beginning to spring. The dial is shaded by trees.
