BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Staffordshire

In churchyard. Latitude given as N5240. Circular EoT scale, indicating Clock Slow, Clock Fast. Shows hours 4am to 8pm. Some verdigris. Mounted on plinth set on four-stepped circular base. Signed at the south, but read from the north, byJohn Baddeley, a mathematical instrument maker of Albrighton, Wolverhampton, working in 1784.
