BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Motto reads: "I stand amyddst ye floweres to tell your sunny hours". Shows time to 7.5 min marks. Date is approximate. Gnomon has leadstrip on Western edge which sets the shadow back one hour. Dial support 405 square, 910 above base which is 150 high and 510 square.
