BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Mottoes read (in arc above the dial): ’Our days on the earth are as a shadow and there is none abiding’. [1 Chron XXIX v15] and (on possible lead plate below the dial): ’Tempus Edax Rerum’. At the top of the dial plate ’MDCCCXCVI’. Upright numerals IX - XII - IV - VII, with 30, 15 and 7.5 minute divisions.
