BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Paul, Shurdington

East end of nave. Not very high. Upright numerals VI - ’+’ - IIII - VI. Across the top ’16 RICH=GWINNETH 55’. Name might not be the maker. Hour lines to double semicircle around the gnomon root, and half hour lines ending in spearhead. Cross for noon, and dots for half hours in the chapter ring. All engraving filled black.
