BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Rectangular vertical direct south-facing dial, 12 m high on the church tower.
The dial is canted out from the face of the octagonal tower in order to face due south. Some hour lines are just visible from the ground but no numerals. The horizontal line across the dial might be an indication of the equinox, but the (current) gnomon does not appear to have a nodus, so this seems unlikely.
There is a thin iron gnomon with a wavy rain-release supporter. Corroded on upper edge and at end.
There may be signs of a motto on the base of the slab.
