BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Evengelist Church, Hinton Martell

The dial is on the South wall of the tower about 4 m from the ground. It is next to stone marked "WM REDMAN 1696 R.I.P." According to Pevsner, the church is 1870, so the dial must be reset. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Hour lines emanate from circle around gnomon root. Iron strip gnomon with straight supporter. Dial date assumed from date of church.
