BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Green, East Tytherton

Gnomon formed of stone, 380 style, 150 thick. Inscribed on gnomon ’MAUD HEATH / 1474 / 1974’ (Maud Heath built the nearby causeway). Roman numerals 6am to 6pm with XII and IV. Dial totally obscured by trees.
