BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Lincolnshire

The vertical west-facing stone dial is set into the brickwork above the main entrance doorway, with a moulded surround. It is in remarkably good condition considering its age. The house was rebuilt in 1673 by Vincent Amcotts, and the Amcotts Coat of Arms figures in the top left corner, with the date 1681 at the lower right. The other corners have floral decoration. Arabic hour numerals 2 - 8 are marked, and there are seven declination lines with associated Zodiac symbols, indicated by a small triangular-shaped nodus on the gnomon.
