BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cornwall
Motto reads: "Amyddst ye fflowres I tell ye houres". Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from outside the dial. Noon gap. Compass in centre of dial. Inward pointing arrows for half hours. The gnomon is modelled on that seen in the Pre-Raphaelite painting ’Beata Beatrix’ by Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1870). Heavily cut back edge with spike. Slope of stlye flared at root. Two full length supports. Set on circular section concrete pedestal with circular capital and square base.
