BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cornwall

The dial consists of a bronze dialplate sitting on a thin brass disc, and is set on a classical sandstone pedestal 1290h. It contains much detail, with months and days of month (may be an EoT scale). There is a compass star of 36 points, and a Coat of Arms. It shows 4am to 8pm. The maker may be Richard Glynne 1707-1730 London.
