BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church (2), Buckland

Rectangular vertical south-facing dial on the east buttress of the south transept. The dial is badly eroded but evidently spans 6am to 6pm. Some hour and half hour lines and vertical Arabic numerals (6, 7 and 8am) can just be made out. The date, 1707, is inscribed above the dial. The gnomon is cut from a solid sheet with an S-shaped lower edge. Note that the church is at the north end of the village, on an unnamed private road. Dial SRN 3061 is also on this church. Do not confuse this with Buckland, Bucks.
