BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Hill Bark House Hotel, Frankby

This vertical declining dial on the side of the hotel is in excellent condition; but in 1928 the whole house was moved brick by brick, from its original location about three miles to the east, and the dial is now wrongly set by about 1.5 deg! Made of bronze, it carries a sunburst and the motto: "Pereunt et imputantur". It shows hours, halves and quarters from 6am to 4pm.
