BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St James the Great Church (2), Dauntsey

The dial is about 20 feet up on the SW buttress of the tower. Very faint hour lines and numerals. Cross patty marks Noon and IIII marks 4pm. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Scroll gnomon supporter and curious under gnomon ring. Date of 1080 appears under the dial, may have been 1680. See also SRN 3042 on the same church.
