BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Margaret’s Church, Old Catton

The dial is located over the porch. It uses upright black numerals on the stone ground, showing 7am to 6pm in half and quarter hours and using a Cross Patty for noon and IIII for 4pm. An inner border to the chapter ring shows half hours by hatching, while the outer border similarly shows quarters. The rod gnomon has an upward scroll end and a sinusoid bend on the supporter. The date 1732 is at the lower edge of the dial plate.
