BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bryn Bras Castle, Llanrug nr Caernarfon

The dial is built into the wall in the walled garden. It bears designs of the sun, flowers, and fruit. It uses numerals VI - XII - IV - VI, aligned with the full length hour lines, with no subdivisions. Above the gnomon is carved a rising sun. The dial has a circular border of fruit and flowers, the whole being set in a ring of tapered stones. An attractive simple dial.
