BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

County Hall, Exeter

This west-declining slate vertical dial is on Belair, part of the County Hall campus, a 17th/18th century house, modified for offices. It has not survived well and there is little to see now except a few hour and half hour lines and fragments of the border together with remnants of a letter ’C’ at the top. It is said at one time to have been painted. It measures 500mm square.
