BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary’s Church (2), Bishopstone nr Swindon

The dial is about 16 feet up on the second nave buttress to the east of the south door, which is chamfered for the dial to face south. RHS of dial quite eroded. Semicircular design with boundary of chapter ring apparently extending above the horizon line. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Numerals now visible only for 7am-12noon. Uses XII. Gnomon missing.
