BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

An unusual dial with Arabic Numbers around each of two inner rings which respectively show time 3 and 5 hours slow on main dial, for Newfoundland and Maryland respectively. Lettering which may indicate place names not recorded but visible. Roman numerals on main time ring which shows 4am to 8pm in quarters. Engraving in centre.
