BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Durlston Castle, Swanage

The dial is inset in the South wall about 5 m above the ground. Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. Uses XII & IIII. White lines and chapter ring on a beige rectangular dialplate all within a four piece chamfered stone frame. The Roman numerals arranged vertically.
