BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

Motto reads: "Dum Spectas Fugio". 16 pt Compass rose. Church Wardens’ names of John Hague/Ellis John Troughton, and the date. EoT table (now illegible) on the gnomon, with Jan-June on the E side, July-Dec on the W. Writing on the top surface of the gnomon reads: "...means that the clock should ...with dial...". 20 place names Mexico/ Panama/ Boston/ Fernando Isle/ St Sebastian/ St Ives/ Cornwall/ Salisbury/ Dover/ Hanover/ Moscow/ Mecca/ Ispahan/ Surat/ Agra/ Bengal/ Batavia/ Pekin. Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Split noon. Mounted on inelegant octagonal stone pillar 1200h and base.
