BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Motto reads: "Post Est Occasio Calva". [Take time by the forelock]. Shows 6am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Most numerals have spalled away. Thought to have used a Cross patty for Noon and IV. Full length hour lines to small semi-sun at gnomon root.
