BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Somerleyton Hall (1), Somerleyton

A dubious instrument. 10 rings but no hour marks, rings for tropics and arctic/Antarctic are wrongly placed. Zodiac symbols in relief around equatorial band. Excellent pedestal with octagonal base and elaborately carved. Motto at shoulder height "Aetas/Da(?)M/Loq R/Fugit".
