BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist Church, Harrietsham

A fine ’Church window’ shaped declining dial inset into the wall above the South porch, surrounded by arched stone mullions. The motto reads: ’O Send out Thy light and Thy truth’. The centre panel of the dial plate is inscribed ’John Drury / Churchwardens / John Hogben AD 1853’. It is likely that the maker was John Hogben, son of the Thomas Hogben who made the dial at Leeds Castle, and several other Kentish dials.
