BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Kent

The dial is in a window of the master bedroom, actually the left hand dial of two in the same window. The other is SRN 2939. It declines to the east and bears a fly motif rebus and the motto: "Umbram videt Umbra" Shadow seeth Shadow). Ref: Clocks Magazine,Vol10, No10. April 1988.
