BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
In the churchyard is a brass horizontal dial made in 1819 by Samuel Thorpe of Abberley. Its motto reads: "Ab hoc momento pendet Aeternitas". [On this moment hangs eternity]. It is a simple dial with Arabic numerals and measures 295mm in diameter. Several mass dials are visible on the church wall.
