BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary Magdalene’s Church., Little Hereford

A wooden vertical South dial is fixed to the apex of the porch. It is wrongly delineated to show the hours IIII - VIII which is quite wrong for a vertical South dial but would be a standard range for a horizontal one. The hours are divided into halves and, by an inner circle of ticks, into quarters. A cross marks noon. Across the top are the initials of churchwardens ED, IV, and CW. Undercut hooked gnomon at tip. Dial plate split vertically near gnomon. Simple wood frame. Shaded by porch overhang. The dial measures about 430mmh x 400mmw.
