BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Bramdean House (1), Bramdean

The motto reads: " I count the bright hours only". The dial bears the date 1619, probably false. Bulbous plinth circular section 135cm high on square base, in the garden. [The report of 1995 stated that there was another pedestal (no dial) in the gardens.]
