BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
An unusual and pleasing shape. In addition to the motto on the dial plate another on the gnomon reads ’All from dust must return’. Also a key shape is incorporated into the gnomon design. A good sandstone pillar makes this nice churchyard dial into something different from the usual.
