BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Lever Bros factory, Port Sunlight

The gnomon of this excellent bronzed-brass dial bears the logo of Lever Brothers, the highly successful company which created the village of Port Sunlight for its employees. The dial was made in 1995 and is borne upon a cast iron pillar plinth which was rescued from the now demolished factory.
