BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Crewe Hall, Crewe

Armilliary sphere with polar circles. Located in the garden behind the hall; misaligned and is possibly not in its original location. Overall height is about 3000cm. The Hall is dated 1870, and the dial may be of similar date. Very ornate stone plinth starting to fall apart (April 2026). No engravings are visible on the sphere.
