BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Nicholas Church (Redundant Church), Berwick Bassett

A very small dial six feet above ground level, neatly incised into the right hand side of the first nave window in the south wall east of the porch. Has gnomon hole with traces of lead. Shows 9am to 4pm in Roman hours with cross for Noon. The dial is partly shaded by the adjacent contemporary porch and tower. Probably a transitional dial but the condition may be deteriorating to the point where numerals are no longer visible.
