BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
A classic sundial in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Hayle. It has been in position for over 100 years. Inscriptions worn and hard to read. Compass in the centre. Serpent shaped gnomon. Bulbous Portland stone pedestal 1080 high, set on a millstone.
