St Mary Magdalene Church, South Marston

The dial is in the gable above the south porch doorway, flush with the face of the wall. Little detail is visible in this photo but it was described in 1995 as a lovely small dial with the following markings: Roman numerals in a garter around the periphery. Full length hour lines and half length half hour lines. The date is at the top, possibly 1721, but eroded and encrusted with lichen. The gnomon was missing,
