BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Helen’s Church (1), Abingdon

Illegible east-declining vertical dial on the church. The dial is on the south west corner of the church under the parapet, declining 15 degrees east of due south. Unfortunately nothing is visible on the dialplate with the possible exception of some traces of numerals around the edge. The rod gnomon has a nodus at about 2/3rds of its length so, presumably, the dial had Zodiac lines. This is the companion dial to SRN 4007, just round the corner.
