BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St James’ Church, South Wraxall

The dial is placed on the ridge end of the south porch, about 20 feet above ground level. No numerals remain but full hour and half hour lines show clearly. It looks as if it may have been set in the tower wall possibliy in the 17th or 18th century and subsequently repositioned during restoration in the late 19th century. The gnomon is wrought iron.
