BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial is over the garden entrance. It is an irregularly shaped stone some 10 ins thick with sundial recesses sunk into the South facing vertical face, the topmost being hemispherical and another four rectangular. There is also a rectangular dial in the east face. Some traces of iron gnomons are visible. No numbers or lines are visible however. Mounted 90 degs out on elegant Palladian style entrance to the garden - 10 ft high. Ref: Henslow ’Ye Sundial Booke’, Foyle Ltd, London, 1935, p155
