BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
This is the upper of the two dials on the tower SE Buttress. The motto reads: "Hodie Vive" (Live today). The lower one is SRN 4417. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Full length hour lines. Uses cross for Noon. May have been painted. Open triangular strip gnomon. Better photograph requested.
